"Former Knick Larry Johnson feels that Charles Barkley was out of line for saying that LeBron James' decision to televise his free agency announcement was a "punk move."

"Why would he say that about that youngster?" Johnson told The News. "If you want to say that LeBron should have told Cleveland before the show that he wasn't coming back, that's fine. I agree with that.

"But to call him a punk, I don't understand that. I agree with the move he made. He's trying to win a championship by joining two other All-Stars. If I could have done that when I played I would have."

Barkley, the TNT analyst, criticized James for the one-hour television special and for dancing onstage when he was introduced to the crowd in Miami for the first time.

"Come on man, this is the NBA," Johnson said. "This is a new generation. It's about entertainment. But don't kid yourself, the guy is the best player in the league. He made a great move." Daily News

I agree with Larry Johnson big time. Charles Barkley for some reason has selective memory. I guess Charles Barkley forgot how he behaved when  he was on the Sixers. I guess he forgot that he  starting throwing games just to get traded to a winning team like the Suns. Here is my article on how I feel about the Charles Barkley and the Lebron situation.
