Monta Ellis has just been suspended for 30 games by the Golden State Warriors. Just when you thought things were going to get good for Monta, who just received a new 66 million dollar contract from the Warriors, he gets into a scooter accident---not a top of the line motorcycle but a scooter. Well the Warriors are not having it. When a player gets signed that means a team is making an investment. Not only was this an irresponsible act but it could have been a career ending injury. Teams have rules and if you are blessed with making money then follow the rules. To top things off his insurance company will probably not insure him. Monta, Monta, Monta, what the hell was on your mind? When you think about how Jay Williams ended his promising career by having a motorcycle accident this makes you wonder if Monta was taking his situation too lightly. Monta might be in for a long season.
